Kevin Woodcock is the Durham officer responsible for the Somet Fishy Project that is currently taking a group of students through their “John Muir” Award. They are now four weeks into the twelve and it is going well. They’ve all worked hard especially yesterday during the conservation element. They carried out a litter pick on the beach below “Noses Point”. We collected in excess of 20 bin bags of discarded waste, piping, bottles, shoes.
An excellent project with some great outcomes for students and the local environment.
