School Tills & PIN

16th November 2018 By davidlanglands

Dear Parent/Carer,
We have recently upgraded our security protocols for students who use a PIN for brunch/lunch tills. This is to ensure only your child has access to their account and funds allocated to it.

The impact of this means that the old 4 digit PIN has now been deleted and a new 6 digit PIN or biometric finger scan will be used in the future.

School staff will be informing students that this process is now complete and if they were a regular PIN user that they must register for a new 6 digit PIN or biometric finger scan with Mr D. Hebdon in IT before Thursday 22nd November. Students who fail to do this will no longer be able to use the school till after Thursday 22nd November.
Can you please discuss this at home, so that they are able to register for a new PIN (if required)or biometric finger scan. This message only affects students who are regular PIN numbers and type in a 4 digit PIN at the till.
