Dear Parent/Carer,
If your child is well and able, they are expected to attend all live lessons delivered by staff in school. Teachers will continue to deliver the curriculum as they would do in school though it should be expected that this may look slightly different and the activities they undertake may be web based.
Live lessons will be accessed via Google Classroom using the Google Meet link your child’s teacher has generated. For instructions on how your child can access this please click the link below :
To support your child and ensure adequate breaks from a screen, the timings of the school day have been amended as below. It is important that your child is logged on and ready to join the Google Meet at the time shown for their year group to ensure a prompt start to learning for all students.
Our expectations are that students behave on a live lesson as we would expect them to during a lesson in school and any misbehaviour will be dealt with accordingly.
Technology Access – If your child is entitled to free school meals and has no access to a device to work on, please contact your child’s year leader who can arrange for a device to be collected from main reception. We also have a small number of sim cards with preloaded data that can be provided to parents however you will need a device to use with the sim card.
If you have any issues with remote learning please contact your child’s year leader in the first instance:
