The Class of 2026 were full of smiles on GCSE Results Day, celebrating the best GCSE results in the history of the school.

These outstanding results are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our young people. We are incredibly proud of every student and the individual achievements they have made. We also recognise the dedication and commitment of our teachers and support staff, whose hard work and belief in our students have helped them to achieve their very best.

These results are a fantastic platform for our students as they take their next steps into further education, training and employment, opening the door to the next exciting chapter of their lives.

Celebrating Success

55% of students achieved Grade 5 or above in both English and maths, above the national average.

75% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in English, while 72% achieved Grade 4 or above in maths, again above national average.

A8 of 48 meaning the average grade of our students is 4.8, almost a Grade 5, above the national average figure of 4.7

There were also some exceptional individual performances. While there are far too many achievements to celebrate them all individually, Neeve W achieved an outstanding eight Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and a Distinction*.

We could not be prouder of the Class of 2026. Their success demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work, determination and a belief in what is possible.
