This award is the result of 18 months of dedicated work, focusing on improving parental engagement in key areas such as attendance, communication, and student achievement. Through initiatives such as targeted parental meetings, improved communication strategies, and structured intervention programs, we have strengthened the home-school relationship, ensuring that parents and carers are fully involved in their child’s education.

The LPPA accreditation is valid for three years, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to engage families and further support student success. Moving forward, we will continue to build on these improvements to ensure that parental partnership remains at the heart of our school’s strategy.

The journey leading to this outcome has been a collective effort, encompassing countless hours of teaching, learning, and collaborative initiatives. Every member of Seaham High School has played a pivotal role in ensuring we continually strive for excellence in every aspect of school life.
